Sunday school is a key point in our church life. Our classes are organized to be our first step Bible studies for new and returning members. Sunday school is also the place to begin getting connected to other aspects of the life of the church. As in all our efforts, we seek to help guests as well as church members to embrace service in God’s Kingdom. We do have nursery care and preK class available during this time.
Our primary women’s class (all ages) is called The Wreath Class. The class is led by Oma Ruth Massey. The class sponsors several events each year including the regional Annual Ladies Prayer Breakfast which is now in the 28th year. The class is multigenerational and you may want to visit this page often to check out links to the events the Wreath Class leads.
The currently un-named Men’s Class
This is class is for adult men of all ages. In addition to first step Bible studies the class doubles as our Brotherhood connection who serve to lead in Disaster Relief, International Mission Projects and in support of the mission programs for the young men in our church. The class is led by our Brotherhood Director Larry Johnson.
Sunday school for Students
Student ministry is taking off at FBC and Sunday mornings are no exception. Sugy Martinez is our Student Ministry Sunday school teacher and the class serves as our primary connection point to all the activities we offer such as Summer Camp, SYATP, Winter Retreat as well as Challengers and Acteens. Visit this page often for more details on Sunday school.
Sunday school for Children
We have an excellent teaching staff for children with great age appropriate Bible study mixed with crafts and games. Children’s ministry covers children 1st-6th grades.
