Pastor Daryl Hall
Pastor Hall started his ministry with First Baptist in February 2019. Prior to his move to Texas, he served in churches for more than thirty years in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi and Florida. He is married to Laura Elvia Hall, a San Antonio based architect. Together, Daryl and Laura own MissionWorx Films, a Texas based Christian film company.
Daryl is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Urban Missions and a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. In March of 2023, Daryl was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Bone Cancer. Daryl discusses his journey with cancer (as well as sharing sermons and Bible studies)in his podcast Underground Agape. Laura attended University of Texas at San Antonio and Columbia University in New York. She served as a founding Board Member of The ACE Mentor Program in San Antonio, is a published photographer, a leader of women’s ministry in South Texas and the worship leader at First Baptist Church.
Daryl loves fishing, soccer, rodeo, and jazz. Laura loves photography, playing the piano, exploring history and genealogy and fixing things.
Daryl and Laura have an amazing dog named Rosie and ….cats, Cotton, Little and Midnight!
